Examinations may be easy or difficult, depending along the way you plan for the examinations. As the saying goes, if you don’t plan, you plan to fail.

Planning is an important stage in everyone’s lives. You plan for a trip and determine the places to go. You plan your timetable daily and you plan to play an hour or so of Halo 3 tonight from 10pm to 11pm. You plan to sleep at 11pm, or your mother plans for you to sleep at 11pm. Planning is undeniably important to ensure that you may make sure you have covered everything.

How then, do you start planning your examinations and what qualities do you need to achieve planning for the examinations?

The very first question many individuals ask is how early should I prepare myself for the examinations? It depends on the consistency of yourself and how many subjects that you have to take. For my university examinations, I normally plan 3 – 4 weeks of studying time waec expo, and that’s if I have already been consistently following tutorials and lectures. If you’re someone who hasn’t been consistent together with your work, you almost certainly need a few weeks more to brush up on your foundation. You should also be prepared to stay glued to your plan, else everything will fail.

When I plan, I print out the a regular calender with the examination dates written on it. Then I begin by counting how many days I’ve from now till the examinations, and I divide my time equally. If you’re weaker in another subject, you could have to sacrifice time faraway from studying your absolute best subject and dedicating it to your weaker ones.

If you have been consistently following up on your lessons, your foundations must be good enough. Thus you are able to spend your time practicing on past year papers to ensure that you can get a sense of how good you are. Do remember to time yourself sometimes so that you discover how fast you are able to complete a certain paper. Past year papers from the ten year series, in addition to school papers from other schools are recommended.

Do remember that it is more straightforward to work on harder questions, than to work on easy ones and think you first got it right, only to be complacent and flunk the examination.

Another tip that everyone should already know just is to examine for a certain examination if you are opting for it another day. As an example, if tomorrow’s your chemistry paper, study chemistry and not physics. If you have two papers on a single day, do be sure you have the ability to complete your entire studies promptly!
